We just wanted to update you on how things are going since the sad loss of Dr. Metzler this past year. Dr. Metzler loved her clients and patients and was adamant that her practice continues to serve her clients for decades to come. We are going to keep Orangevale Veterinary Hospital OPEN and OPERATING under the expert guidance of Dr. Christine Gerst. Dr. Metzler's wishes were for Dr. Gerst to be her successor to run the hospital without any changes to the services that we provide. We will continue as we have always been doing. Our staff is all mourning the loss of Dr. Metzler as she was much, much more to all of us than just a boss. She was our family, our friend, our confidant, and we all loved her. She will be missed by all of us.
We are continuing to provide all of our reproduction services; progesterone testing, TCI's, C-sections, surgical inseminations, freezing with storage on site, OFA's, as well as routine surgeries and general medicine. We will also be attending shows to honor Dr. Metzler and support the dog community she felt so highly of.
